University of Siena

 
The University of Siena is one of the oldest Universities in Italy. It was founded in 1240 thanks to funds provided by the city government. The University of Siena has a rich history which has remained closely related to the city for almost five centuries. The University has grown constantly over the centuries, especially since the beginning of the 20th century, and in recent years the number of students has exceeded 20,000. Its long history and great knowledge related traditions have translated into a current strong commitment to research and innovation, at the same time guaranteeing high quality teaching and a wide range of services for students.

The University is composed of nine Faculties, among which the Faculty of Economics and Management “Richard Goodwin”. Nowadays, the University’s high level of scientific research and teaching activities allows excellent relations with the business world and close cooperation with the international academic world.
